Dr. Jinaan Jawad has entertained the idea of working in the medical field ever since he was young.  Having been raised by his father and mother, a Cardiologist and Internal Medicine Doctor and a Nurse Anesthetist, respectively, he was encouraged to follow in their footsteps and explore the field of health care.

Dr. Jawad graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois with a B.S. in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Shortly after, he returned and furthered his education, receiving his Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

From there, he continued his education at the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, where he obtained his Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology and became a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.  He is also a firm believer in maintaining a healthy nutrition regimen, using appropriate supplementation, and exercising regularly.

When he is not busy mending patients, Dr. Jawad is an Adjunct Professor of Human Anatomy and Physiology at the College of DuPage, sharing his wisdom with aspiring health care specialists.

Since opening his own practice in 2006, Dr. Jawad has remedied aches and pains through Functional Neurology Chiropractic treatment and Acupuncture for thousands of patients.

PROFILE

As a dedicated and compassionate physician with a successful clinic for the past 9 years, I have developed a passion for the brain-body connection and the basic and clinical sciences which are an important and integral part of this connection. My desire is to educate all my patients and students on how the spinal and nervous systems work, the benefits of alternative and complimentary medicine, and to provide them with impeccable care through my broad-based knowledge and training. I have a strong belief in the relationship between the Spiritual, Social, Environmental and Healthy lifestyle aspects of living. I am looking to expand my horizons beyond my patients and seek teaching experiences with Medical Students in areas of interest in both the Basic and Clinical Sciences, while at the same time keeping my Practice of Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Neurology fresh.
